The project goal is strengthening the regulation and supervision of financial institutions in Peru.

The project purpose is improved regulation and supervision of the CIS industry.

Key project outputs:
A diagnostic report that evaluates fiduciary and other types of risks facing the CIS industry and makes recommendations for addressing those risks;
Comprehensive outline of operational and compliance practices CIS operators and custodians need to undertake in order to fulfil their fiduciary duties;
A monitoring and inspection methodology, to be used by CONASEV, for assessing fulfilment of fiduciary duties by CIS operators and custodians;
Amendments or additions to supervisory procedural manuals necessary to ensure effective supervision of CIS operators
